Beyond Flat is a brand of Color Glass – a company with over 25 years’ experience in the glass processing industry. We have poured the expertise of an industrial design company and the craftsmanship of a design studio all into one. As a spin-off of Color Glass, Beyond Flat specializes in creating beautiful glass products that carry the durability and functionality of industrial glass but are unique art pieces designed specially for you. We cater to your needs in partnership with our painter / sculptor as well as our team of glass experts and creatives.

Cutting right to the chase, here at Beyond Flat we create functional glass art that is designed in partnership with our artist /who is a painter & sculptor/ and team of glass experts and creatives.

Coloured
Your glass product can have a masterpiece or image printed on it or a unique artwork / pattern created by our own artist and based on your preference / vision.
Unique Shape and Relief
Depending on the design and function of your product, you can have something truly unique in shape – with our without relief. The relief pattern can be selected from our catalog or designed especially for you in house.
Safe
Your glass product will undergo a tempering phase in our furnaces which will make it as durable and safe as industrial glass products. In other words, art up to the quality and durability specifications of industrial production.

We are love incorporating innovative techniques and technology in creating something truly unique you will be proud to display on your home and that will last.
Colours
When it comes to Colours, we work with state-of-art- digital printer that has the capacity to print images and artwork onto glass with breathtaking precision. Its technology uses super fine nozzles which allows for the paint to penetrate the glass and recreate the artwork beautifully.
Because we work with ceramic paints (as opposed to UV print or organic paints) and because of the technology, this also means that what’s printed is practically timeless –peeling or fading of the paint is literally impossible as the glass and paint are technically fused together into one material.
You can choose between having and existing masterpiece printed on to your glass art or you can work with our painter who will create a unique pattern / design / artwork created especially for you (that will not be replicated anywhere else).
Shapes
When it comes to Shapes, we have extensive experience creating products with different relief patterns, created by our painter / sculptor, as well as overall product shapes depending on the type of product and its purpose. Apart from our production capabilities, what makes this possible is also the unique technique of our painter / sculptor Peter Malamat whose expertise lies in glass work and who has over 10 years’ experience in thinking up and crafting glass designs.
Durability
When it comes to Durability, all our products go through a tempering phase where they benefit from the attention and know-how of our factory glass experts as well as the procedures the products undergo in our industrial furnaces of various sizes and functions. In other words, your glass art benefits from the know-how and technical capabilities that are used in the production of large scale industrial design projects.
